learned some great web 2.0 gadgets from classmates.

paper - DL, past present future (a revisit on APA and scholarly writing!)

project 4 - research rescue 0first time to truly use wikipedia with people at a distance that I have not met F2F. learned how to use elluminate

6321 with COrbeil

instructional unit - dick and carey method, learned about the design process...more than just creating training, but analyzing learners, needs, setting objectives, matching assessment methods to objectives, formative evaluation, etc.

cooperative project - problems with group relationships (lack of team work) resulted in a last minute panic. project pulled together, areas for improvement identified, but it was completed. kemp and addie methods were compared and examples given. learned there is more than one way to design content.

first positive experience in second life

6304 - not too excited about ed psych, ended up being my favorite class of the summer! learned a lot about how one's experiences, environment, and self efficacy affects ability to learn. research: motivation & online learning: the role of student, teacher, course designer

6340 - web 2.0 emphasis - blogs, wikis, social bookmarking, multimedia presentations,

conducted research in effective multimedia design and created project including district snapshot and a presentation about how to use slideshare to publish work. will begin using slideshare to host presentations.

problems in communication with online teacher resulted in a bonding amongst students and more communication with peers in this class than in previous.
